Slow Food DC was pleased to partner with Patagonia Washington DC and several of our Snail of Approval winners recently for an end-of-summer summer food celebration. Along with Slow Food DC, our wonderful partners Common Good City Farm and City Blossoms were sharing information and resources about their important work in the District. The event also spotlighted food and drink from local and eco-friendly producers and vendors, including several Snail of Approval winners:

  • Paste and Rind, another of our newest Snail winners, was on site and offering three delicious samples of cheeses produced in our region

  • Souper Girl gazpacho—and we quickly learned that people were most excited to try their spicy flavor!

  • Little Sesame hummus, which are excited to see continue to grow in popularity across the country

Thank you to all partners involved and to the many attendees who came through, tried the delicious food, and learned more about the vibrant local food system in the DMV area!
